I just got a chance to try the new strain Sour Magna, featured in our weekly newsletter and only available from select growers – here’s what I thought about it.

Overall score – 8.5 out of 10

Sour Magna is a new strain that has a nice earthy flavor and potent yet relaxing effects. It’s a great strain for anyone looking to try something new that’s good quality but won’t break the bank. Read on to learn more about Sour Magna.

The Goods

So, let’s get straight to what you want to know… is this a good strain? Short answer, yes. I personally enjoyed it. Upon opening the pouch it came in, I was pleasantly surprised with big, dense nugs that smelled good and appeared to be of good quality. The buds were dark green with some orange hairs and hand-trimmed to perfection.

This flower broke down perfectly for joints, blunts, and bowls. Not too dry and not too damp either. I did notice a couple of seeds in the one nug that I used for my joint. That’s not a deal breaker for me as I like having the option to grow my own flower from strains that I’m fond of, but I know some people have no interest in seeded flower.

That said, I found this strain to smoke a lot smoother than other hemp strains that I’ve tried. The flavor was bold and earthy, and it wasn’t at all harsh. The effects were immediately noticeable, with a nice chill feeling hitting within minutes.

These flowers are lab-tested and come back with roughly 14% CBD and 16% total cannabinoids. They come from reputable growers in Colorado
